Print can be a statement and is a great way to make your mark from handing out a business card to having very unique pieces at your wedding. White ink on black or other dark paper and card stocks is not something that everyone can produce and it is suited to people who wish to go that extra step in creating artistic pieces that grab people, have impact, and make sure that guests and customers remember you. Black board with white ink pieces are often cherished and held on to. People are likely to show your work to others simply due to the look and feel.

Tips for printing White on Black
You can design Black on White or in any 2 colours - just let us know which colour on your design is to print as white.
Avoid designing borders close to the edge of the print. The edge of a trimmed black board is already statement enough and printed borders often do not work well. Be creative though, often swirly borders are what you want and they can work wonderfully - send in your design ideas and we'll let you know what's going to work.
Do avoid very thin lines or very small fonts.
Feel free to design minimal or with large white areas.
What works best is to have the black paper do the work, make the statement and keep your print crisp and to the point.
You should avoid images. Many graphics and logos do work very well though. If choosing clip art of flowers etc, remember that details may be lost. It can be surprising just what detail does work in this format and we'll attempt to tell you upfront what in your design will work well.

White on black print is only as expensive as colour printing so is a great way to make a statement in an affordable manner.Small items like business cards can be around $2 and larger items like folded greetings cards can be $5. There's discounts on larger runs and a minimum fee of $80 for any job. We source the black board, we use our knowledge to layer the white ink to give the best result given the board and the design and we handle file manipulation to take your design to print. After production we trim, pack and send your work to you, often in only a few days!
